The Door Youth Project
The Door is a youth project in Stroud, employing 20 full and part time staff as well as a team of 80 volunteers. As an organisation they are committed to the spiritual development of every member. The team regularly meet and pray together for their work and personal lives. Each staff member has a personal development plan and is able to access ongoing training. The senior management are committed to demonstrating the value of the team through celebratory activities such as bacon rolls! The Door are committed to developing some of their young people as volunteers and then youth workers where appropriate. Many of these young people are now valued members of the youth work team
